Steve, I know I rolled up treasure for you - got it all ready, but now I can't find my list. Please let me know if I emailed, posted or PM'ed it to you. If not, I'll roll it up again on Wednesday if I still can't find it.

Also, I'll need to know whether you want door number 1, 2 or 3 for your First Time Player Bonus. Thanks.

The link to the Iron Valley and caves is HERE. Steve, your character does not know anything about the caves beyond having stumbled across Cave A and then ran into us at Cave B. You haven't been further to the right than B yet. You also don't know about the underground passages. That pic is actually a map that our characters have.

Heya.
About the color 'grey' (or 'gray', whatever) - I'm pretty sure it's in the font colour list, namely in the middle of the middle-most section.
Try it out sometime!

That said, the palette is a bit limited - maybe it's my eyes, but there's two colors each time that are practically alike, namely the first two columns of each field. The first two fields don't look very distinguishable from one another either...

Hi Pippa,

On my screen, none of the colors appear even remotely gray - not even close, but of course we know what they say about monitors. On my screen - and at home actually, the middle colors are shades of green and blue. I'll have to try those middle colors as it sounds like that's what you are using, and yours look gray, so that's good. I find it pretty easy to do it the way I am, but it would be easier to nail down which button exactly is the gray, since they don't display as such. The font pallet is pathetic, I know, but it's also free, so that makes it much more desirable. I'll see if it's possible to expand it. Thanks (in greenish gray that'll probably look normal gray?)

Yep green is gray (actually, it looks more olive on my screen. Olive is gray! ;)

Hey there,

you did send me an email with my gear. I will update my sheet with it soon.

Do you have a recommendation for the door numbers? I will go over them again and think it over.

Thanks!

My recommendation is not to take the +4 CP, even though it is the most direct route to power, the least iffy, since there is only backstory related to how you got it, and so there are no unknowns. Then why not that door? Because it's also the least interesting. For a safer bet, you can take +2 CP and an enhanced background. But only characters that take the extraordinary background have a strong storyline background with future implications, like in Willow - destined to have at least 1 really cool thing happen in your life - an opportunity for something great or for greatness, but usually also includes a price - someone else who wants the same thing is now an enemy, or because you are higher profile, you now have higher profile enemies. If it resulted in you having some political muscle that a character wouldn't normally have, then of course you have political opponents. That sort of thing. It's the big unknown, but gets you enmeshed into the game world and some goodies. So, it comes down to instant gratification, less up front more later, or even less up front (usually) with quite a bit later.

Ok sounds good. I will take the +2 CP and the enhanced background.
